    Cupra Car News - 2017 Seat Ateca Cupra prototype spotted 2017 New spy shots have revealed Seat’s upcoming Ateca Cupra, a performance-focused SUV with a 286bhp punch, undergoing on-road trials in Barcelona. Previously, the same undisguised ‘prototype’ of the Seat Ateca Cupra was also spotted in Barcelona, yards from where the launch of the facelifted Seat Leon was taking place. Seat officials stressed that the car seen at the launch event was only a mule, yet the car in question looked very close to being the finished article. It was also being driven by Dr. Matthias Rabe, head of research and development at Seat.

That sonorous V10, smooth ride, fabulous interior and staggering accessibility – even Pastor Maldonado could get it cleanly around a circuit – all count heavily in its favour.  Why so little love for the Coupe, then? As an everyday supercar, it excels. It is extremely proficient, refined and disciplined. It is also, as a result, terrifically  safe  and somewhat aloof .  Consequently, those looking for heart-trembling excitement may find it lacking.     2015 Peugeot 208 GTi 30th Anniversary revealed Peugeot boosts 208 GTi performance to mark the classic 205 GTi's 30th anniversary. Peugeot used the recent Paris motor show to take the wraps of a more hardcore version of the 208 GTi hot hatch, with the 208 GTi 30th Anniversary marking 30 years since the debut of the classic 205 GTi. The 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine of the standard Peugeot 208 GTi has been beefed up to put out a neat 208 metric horsepower - what else? If you prefer metric numbers the engine produces 156 kilowatts. Perhaps if we ask them nicely the French engineers could screw even more out of the engine and give us 208 kW (that's 279 bhp - delicious!)
